Book a whale watching tour if it’s the right season. The whales move up the coast from Antarctica in May-June to give birth in the warmer waters of Queensland. They return with the calves in August. They swim right past Sydney, close to the cliffs of the Northern Beaches; sometimes into Sydney Harbour.
